THANK YOU TO OUR TEACHERS AND EDUCATORS!

In July, we kicked off a campaign to show our appreciation to the teachers and educators in our community. The offer was for a free oil change, inspection, and vehicle cleaning.

Over the three months that we offered the service we were able to serve over 300 teachers and educators. We met some amazing people who are doing superhuman work with less than ideal resources. Faced with tight budgets and endless complications from COVID, they are finding ways to overcome and continue to serve our kids!

In addition to the complimentary service, everyone who came in before August 31 was automatically entered for a chance to win a $1,000 back-to-school shopping spree.

In September, we randomly selected one winner from each of the two Sport Mazda locations.

The winners were:

Amy Jones, a 2nd-grade teacher from Lake Orienta Elementary

AND

David Wheeler, a 5th-grade teacher from Bear Lake Elementary

We had a blast putting this all together and meeting the amazing educators in our community! We are forever grateful to all of you for making our communities better and brighter.

If you are a teacher or educator — thank you! If you know one, please know that their job was hard in 2019 and now it’s darn near impossible. While we can’t advise you to give them a hug in the current climate, we do recommend finding ways to say thanks when you can.
